Sultanpur (Uttar Pradesh): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Union Minister Maneka Gandhi fell on a muddy road while returning after addressing a public meeting in Uttar Pradesh's Sultanpur on Monday. A video of the same went viral on social media. In the video, Gandhi was seen walking carefully, but she slips and fell on the muddy road.
According to sources, Maneka was returning from a public meeting at Ward No 15 Ghasiganj after campaigning for party nominees in the municipal elections. She was accompanied by a convoy, including MLA Vinod Singh. Due to heavy rain, the road had become slippery. At the same time, Maneka alighted from the car and tried to walk, but she lost balance as the road was slippery and fell on the muddy road. The party workers, who were accompanying her, supported her and raised her from the car.
Addressing a meeting in the Gabhadiya area on Monday, Maneka Gandhi said that with the formation of a triple-engine government, the pace of development will get faster. People can witness the all-around development of Sultanpur district with the Modi government at the Centre, the Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh.
