A 21-story building that's stood in downtown Richmond, Virginia for four decades was imploded on Saturday. The former Dominion Energy office tower at Seventh and East Cary streets dropped to the ground in 20 seconds. The building was completed in 1978. The office tower has been vacant since last fall when the company moved employees into a new office building.
