South Korean ex-president granted bail in bribery case

Former South Korean President Lee Myung-bak was released from detention on Wednesday after a court approved 1 billion won (885,000 US dollar) bail nearly a year after his arrest and during the ongoing appeal of his corruption conviction and sentence.
