New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced on Monday national elections will be pushed back by four weeks as the country deals with a new coronavirus outbreak in its largest city, Auckland. The country's election was due to be held on September 19 but Ardern told reporters in Wellington that the recent reemergence of the virus outbreak in Auckland was a 'cause for concern'. The election will now be held on October 17.
