The custodian of the Catholic Church's properties in the Holy Land arrived in Bethlehem to open the Christmas season on Saturday amid a lockdown in the West Bank, which was induced due to a surge in coronavirus cases. Scouts wearing face masks played bagpipes and drums as Father Francesco Patton and officials made their way toward the Church of Nativity.
