Lord Ganesha's immense popularity among devotees has also made them turn creative with his favourite food, Modak. Taking a break from the traditional way of preparing this delicacy there are a number of experiments done that resulted in a riot of taste and texture of Modaks. Here is one such Modak recipe where rice flour is replaced by 'maida' and a delicious cooked mix of mava/khoya and bottle gourd is used for the stuffing.
