Ambulances queued up outside Ahmedabad Civil Hospital

The situation in Ahmedabad has turned worse day after day due to Corona, with most of the hospitals in Ahmedabad operating at full capacity. On the other hand, ambulances have queued up at the Ahmedabad Civil Hospital, and patients who are in a serious condition are being treated in the ambulance itself on a priority basis. Currently, all 1200 beds in the Civil Hospital have been occupied, and almost 90 per cent of the patients are on oxygen, due to which the situation has become more serious.
