Union Budget 2020: Amritsar farmers demand separate budget for agriculture sector

Amritsar: As the date for Union Budget 2020 is nearing, farmers are anticipating better budget allocation for the farming sector. They are also demanding to have a separate provision for the price of crops. General Secretary of farmers' rights group, Kisan Sangharsh Committee, Sarwan Singh said, "Government is saying that they will double the farmer's income but we don't have any roadmap as of now.
