Watch: Phase 1 of Naval Exercise Malabar 2020

Bay of Bengal: Phase 1 of the Naval Exercise Malabar 2020 is underway in the Bay of Bengal. The exercise this year features the Indian Navy, the US Navy, Japan Maritime Self Defence Force and The Royal Australian Navy. The exercise began on November 3rd 2020. Indian Naval vessels Ranvijay, Shivalik, Shakti, Sukanya, and submarine Sindhuraj are taking part in the exercise. The US Navy is being represented by USS John McCain. HMAS Ballarat is representing the Royal Australian Navy and Japan is being represented by JS Onami.
