TSRTC bus swept away in flood, passengers rescued in time

A Telangana State Road Transport Corporation bus swept away in the floodwaters at Gambiraopeta low-level bridge in Rajanna Sirisilla district in Telangana on Monday. Fortunately, all the passengers were saved in time before the bus swept into floodwaters from the bridge where it was stuck for some time. Upon hearing their cries for help, local farmers rushed to the spot and rescued the passengers and the crew. Telangana has been witnessing widespread rainfall in the last three days and flooding was reported in many places.
