Relations with India never deteriorated: Nepal minister

Speaking exclusively to ETV Bharat's Senior Correspondent Chandrakala Choudhury, Nepal's Minister of State for Ministry of Urban Development Ram Bir Manandhar said Indo-Nepal relations never deteriorated as the two neighbours share a deep bond. Manandhar, who is in India for a special session on India-Nepal relations, said no political differences will hamper the ties between the two nations. "Even if some other factors try to hamper the relationship between India and Nepal, the fact that we share the strongest bond will remain the same. There might be differences in opinions but not differences in the heart," he said. Stating that though trade between the two countries was disrupted due to the COVID pandemic, it would soon be completely restored, Manandhar added that he would love if India would send another million doses of the COVID vaccine to its Himalayan neighbour.
