It's time to firm-up urban development

Urbanization is the most complex problem faced by the countries of the World. By the year 2030, almost 60 percent of the world’s population would be living in cities. By then, most of the economic activity would be concentrated in urban areas which would contribute 80 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Realizing the future economic potential of urban areas, the Modi government simultaneously launched three urban development schemes around four years ago.
