India ranks 95 in first-ever Gender Eqaulity Index

Did you know that India ranked 95th out of 129 countries in terms of gender inequality as per the first-ever Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Gender Index compiled and published in 2019 by UK-based Equal Measures 2030? It scored 56.2 on a scale of 0-100, indicating that it falls in the ‘very poor’ category.
