LMO from Bahrain gets custom clearance at Mangalore Port

Customs Department on Thursday has cleared the consignment of 54 tonnes of imported liquid medical oxygen (LMO) at the New Mangalore Port on the highest priority. The medical oxygen container was brought to India from Bahrain by the Indian Navy Ship (INS) Talwar. The swift customs clearance process has been initiated to ensure that all life-saving drugs and oxygen equipment reach the intended beneficiaries within the shortest possible time.
