The Metro rail service in the national capital will resume from September 7 after being shut for over six months because of the coronavirus pandemic as Centre released its Unlock4 guidelines. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has made full preparations on its part. As the Delhi Metro restores its services, the authorities will take several steps such as limiting the number of people in the elevator and increasing the stoppage time of trains for the safe boarding of passengers. While talking to ETV Bharat, Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot told about the arrangements by the government and the protocols regarding the opening of the metro in the country's capital.
