Exclusive: BJP, Congress dwell on hits and misses of Modi govt

On completion of one-year of the second term of the Modi government, ETV Bharat News Editor Nishant Sharma, Congress spokesperson Raashid Alvi and BJP spokesperson Gopal Krishna Agarwal debated the 'achievements' and 'forfeit' of the ruling government. Congress said that the Modi government has totally failed in tackling the novel coronavirus as well as the country's economy. While Alvi gave 'negative' rating to the centre's performance on a scale of 1 to 10, BJP spokesperson, on the other hand, blamed the Congress regime for the country's current situation. Agarwal also went on to claim that the BJP-led central government has addressed most of the country's issues during its six-year regime. From abolishing Article 370 pertaining to Jammu and Kashmir's special status to criminalising instant talaq BJP has taken firm steps, claimed Agarwal.
