15-feet-long King Cobra spotted in East Godaveri District

East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh: A 15-feet long King Cobra was found at Mothugudem Filter House in East Godavari District. The snake was living under pipelines in the pump house for the past few days. The local people panicked after noticing its presence. Forest department officials on Wednesday called a snake-catcher named Ishwar from Rajahmundry. Ishwar caught the snake and handed it over to the forest department officials. Forest officials later released the king cobra in a densely forested area farther from the living areas.
