If you are COVID positive what should be done?
If tested positive, home isolation is better. Keep the patient in a separate room away from the other family members particularly, from children and old people. The room should be well ventilated and arrange a helper round the clock. The helper should be a middle-aged person.
Regularly monitor body temperature, pulse rate, oxygen levels in the blood. This data should be conveyed to the physician and follow the instructions regarding medication. Wear three-layered masks all the time. Change the mask once in eight hours. Sanitize the objects and clothes frequently. Keep the garbage separately.
Do not go for a chest CT scan because it is equal to 500 X-rays. It may lead to other medical problems. Blood thinners and steroids should be used as per the physician's advice. 85 to 90% of the patients do not need Remdesivir injection. If fever is not controlled, pain in the chest and breathless rush to nearby COVID hospital.
