Can there be a vaccine in homeopathy or a homeopathic vaccine? To answer this, let us understand what is a vaccine. The vaccine is a product that stimulates a person’s immune system to produce immunity to a specific disease, protecting the person from that disease, as per CDC (Centres for Disease Control and Prevention). So, the question can now be re-structured: Can a homeopathic medicine be called a vaccine if found to produce immunity to a specific, protecting the person from that disease?

The good news is that along with a team of scientists, I have been working on developing and researching COVID-19 Nosode since March 2020. We developed three variants of COVID-19 Nosodes at Haffkine Institute (Mumbai) and Gujarat University. Safety studies in an animal model were conducted following international OECD guidelines. Phase 1 trial was conducted in humans to examine human safety. The studies have shown incredible encouraging finding of an increase in certain biomarkers suggesting protection against the COVID-19 infection.
A human trial was conducted at Mumbai’s BMC run quarantine facility where it was observed that the COVID-19 Nosode has 62% more efficacy against placebo. It may be noted that this is the first COVID-19 Nosode made in the world, scientifically and systematically.

In experimental use of the COVID-19 Nosode, we have observed that it helped to protect many high-risk people who were exposed to other infected patients living in the same house. Not only that, the use of COVID-19 Nosode has shown encouraging benefits in actual patients infected with COVID-19 virus, by drastically reducing the symptoms and the duration of the infection. Of course, more studies are required to determine its use on the masses.
