Kolkata: With daily Covid-19 caseload exceeding 10,000 and rise in related deaths, West Bengal government has introduced a special emergency number for the assistance of infected patients. Covid-19 patients have been asked to call the health department at 1600-313-444-222 in case of any requirement.

The state health department also has launched two new hotlines for 24-hour ambulance service. The emergency number of the West Bengal government is 033-4090-2929.
Kolkata Municipal Corporation Number is 033-2219-6202 / 2241-1255. The number 033-2356-6001 has been provided for doctor's advice and medication through video call or phone. The line will be available 24x7.

In addition, the control room of Kolkata Municipal Corporation can be reached at any time of the day on 033-226-1212 / 1313. Patients who require hospitalization should call 1800-313-444-222. The public can also contact Kolkata Municipality on WhatsApp at 633596.
