Campaigning for his party candidate in Islampur, Siddiqui said though most of the Congress leaders were happy with the grand old party's alliance with the ISF, Chowdhury was playing spoilsport.

Addressing his supporters, Siddiqui said this was the reason why his party separately fielded candidates in Raninagar and Murshidabad regions, breaking the terms of the alliance.

The last two phases of voting in the state are scheduled for April 26 and April 29 respectively. The counting will be done on May 2.
