6 injured as bus, lorry plunge into canal in WB

A mad race between a bus and a lorry resulted in a terrible accident in which six people got injured in West Bengal's South 24 Parganas district. Meanwhile, the rescue operation is currently underway.

Kolkata(West Bengal): A mad race between a bus and a lorry trying to overtake each other on Friday left six injured in West Bengal's South 24 Paraganas district.

On being informed, police rushed to the spot and commenced the rescue operation along with the Disaster Management team.

Divers have already begun the search operation, but due to darkness, found it difficult to carry on the operation, police added.

Meanwhile, the rescued persons were rushed to the hospital.
