Dev, a former MP and ex-President of All India Mahila Congress, quit Congress last month and joined the Trinamool Congress. Her father was a Congress veteran and former Union minister, Late Santosh Kumar Dev.
Dev is expected to be one of the key architects to materialise Trinamool Congress's expansion dreams in Tripura and Assam.
