Kolkata: TMC MLA Madan Mitra has said that instead of sending vaccines, medicines and aid to the state government, the central government is sending central teams to ensure that post-poll violence does not happen.

TMC MLA Madan Mitra further said that not a single BJP office has been burnt and there has been no violence in the state. The MLA said that "I have seen a lot in my life but this is the worst time of my life."

"I have just heard that the Modi government has announced that the second dose of the vaccine will be given after four months. I have no words to describe this pain. I am worried that if someone falls in the grip of corona infection, then there is no vaccine for six months," he stated.
