Police busted illegal arms factory seizing arms, 2 arrested

Police have recovered three single barrel guns, four small firearms, one pistol, two ammunition, six unfinished pistol magazines, 3.6 kilograms of gun powder and several manufacturing tools from an illegal arms manufacturing unit in South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. The manufacturing unit was set up in the house of a local named Akbar Sardar.

Canning (West Bengal): The police unearthed an illegal arms manufacturing unit in South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal and recovered a cache of arms.

Three single barrel guns, four small firearms, one pistol, two ammunition, six unfinished pistol magazines, 3.6 kilograms of gun powder and several manufacturing tools were recovered from the spot, the police said on Monday.

Acting on a tip-off, the police on Sunday night raided a house at Khunkhali Khagra village under Jibantala police station area, where the arms manufacturing unit was set up.

The manufacturing unit was set up in the house of a local named Akbar Sardar.

Police arrested Akbar Sardar along with Amir Sapui and presented before the court later in the day.

Kolkata : In a successful raid Baruipur Police found out an arms factory. Police seized amrs and arrested two in alleged connection with the manufacturing of illegal arms. The raid was carried on after the police received a tip off . Police's Special operation Group and Jevaantala Police station were responsible for the raid. 



3 single barrel, 1 airgun, q revolver, 1 7mm pistol, 10 cartridges, 3.6 kg gunpowder, 6 unfinished pistols were seized by the police.



Police sources said that the illegitimate arms manufacturing was undergoing in that factory for the last six months. The factory was set up in house of a local named Akbar Sardar. Akbar Sardar along with Amir Sapui is nabbed by the police in connection with the case. Today they were presented before Alipore court.
