New Delhi: Trinamool Congress Party has once again made serious allegations against the Modi government, saying that the Centre is using central investigating agencies like ED and CBI on the leaders of the opposition parties and their close friends with political malice. On Friday, Trinamool Congress MP and Chief Whip in Rajya Sabha, Sukhendu Shekhar Roy, while placing some facts during a media interaction, said that just before the elections, ED notices or CBI raids were conducted on different leaders or their relatives in many states.

He further added that even after the West Bengal election results, two ministers of the state government were arrested and interrogated in the 7-year-old Narada sting case. He added that in the same case in 2014, Suvendu Adhikari, who joined BJP from Trinamool Congress, is also named and his video while taking money also surfaced. But surprisingly, neither ED nor CBI is taking any action against him.
