Impossible to conduct Madhyamik exams on June 1: WBBSE

This year the Madhyamik Examination is scheduled to start on June 1. But in this ongoing COVID situation, WBBSE says it is impossible to conduct the examination. But till now no official notification has been released by the West Bengal government so far.

Kolkata: West Bengal Board of secondary education (WBBSE) on Tuesday said that it is impossible to conduct state Madhyamik exams, which was scheduled to begin from June 1 this year.

Meanwhile, no official decision has been taken by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education in this regard.

However, a concrete decision shall be taken by the state government after reviewing the situation.

"Amid ongoing COVID situation and partial lockdown across the state, the board informed the state government that it is impossible to start the examination from June 1," an official said.
