Kolkata: Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) is all set to celebrate its foundation day along with Janmashtami with all grandeur, as they plan to take out large scale processions at more than 1,500 locations across West Bengal.
Alok Kumar, the working president of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, said that the regional unit of Bengal VHP is preparing for a three-day celebration.
According to reports, the festival also kick starts VHP's expansion and strengthening plan across the state.
The high profile celebration is also aimed to propel the ideology of the organisation.

Besides, religious meetings and other cultural functions are also planned to mark the celebrations on August 23-25.
