Sources further said that Bengal election was always a sentimental issue for the BJP.
Following the incidents of political violence against BJP workers in Bengal, Shah assured MLAs in a meeting that he will visit the state during Durga Puja and hold personal interaction with the workers.
To motivate the party workers, Shah has already shared his plans for the meeting with the Bengal MLAs, said sources.
According to the information received from the sources, the party has planned to hold a public meeting during Shah's visit to Bengal but also realised that it can be a big challenge for them to hold such a gathering amid the coronavirus crisis.
Party sources also said that Amit Shah can visit West Bengal from 'Ponchomi' to 'Austomi' during the puja.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, West Bengal BJP MP Arjun Singh said, "The saffron party has already started preparing for the Bengal elections, from holding a virtual rally to interact with ground-level workers".
Singh also claimed that BJP is doing its best to throw away TMC from the power in West Bengal as the latter has committed several scandals to benefit their party leaders as well as their kins.
