Kolkata: As the tussle between the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) and the BJP grows in West Bengal, BJP President Amit Shah is set to hold a mega roadshow in Dharmatalla as a show of strength.
This comes just a day after Shah was denied permission to hold a rally in Jadhavpur.
According to reports, many senior BJP leaders including Mahesh Sharma, Sunil Deodar, MP Rakesh Sinha and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will attend the mega event.
Shah's rally was scheduled in Jadhavpur, which goes to the polls on May 19 in the last phase, but was denied permission at the last minute by the state administration.
Subsequently, the permission for Shah's chopper to land was also withdrawn,
He alleged the ruling party in Bengal was using undemocratic means to target the BJP
Nine Constituencies including Jadhavpur and Kolkata Uttar will go to polls on the final phase on May 19.
