U'khand: People aged between 18-39 constitute 53.2% of total voters

The young voters of Uttarakhand will be crucial in deciding the fate of all candidates in upcoming Lok Sabha polls in Uttarakhand. The percentage of voters aged between 18 and 39 years is 53.2% of the total voters in the state.

Dehradun: As Uttarakhand is heading towards Lok Sabha elections on April 11, all the candidates are engrossed in high-voltage election campaign and wooing voters in their own way. The State Election Commission is also geared up to conduct the fair elections here. The Commission had released the final list of voters in Uttarakhand. The percentage of young voters of the age group 18-39 is 53.2% of the entire voters in the state.

As per Commission's data, there will be 78,56,268 voters who will cast their votes in the upcoming polls. There are 90, 845 service voters in the state along with 40,53,944 male voters and 37,11,479 female voters.

There is five Lok Sabha constituency in which the young voters are 41,36,104 of the age group 18-39.
