Dehradun: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat on Tuesday expressed his hope saying that the number of tourists in Jim Corbett National Park might increase due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
"Our Prime Minister always leaves an impact and because of his episode ( Discovery's Man Vs Wild) we are expecting more tourists in the Jim Corbett National Park," said Rawat.
However, Rawat said that the park has its own limitations and cannot be overpopulated with tourists as it may disturb the wildlife.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be featured on Discovery channel's Man versus Wild TV show hosted by popular survival instructor Bear Grylls.
The show has been shot as a means to promote awareness on animal conservation and environmental change.
The show will air on the Discovery Channel on August 12 at 9 pm.
