Chamoli: On May 18, at 4;15 pm the shrine of Shri Badrinath Dham will open its doors for the summer season with the Vedic hymns and traditions and rituals. Earlier today, the holy throne of Shankaracharya left for Yogadhyan Badri temple Pandukeshwar.

On Monday morning, Shankaracharyaji's throne along with the temple delegation will leave for Badrinath Dham. A special puja was offered by the chief priest of Badrinath Dham at Narshingh Temple in Joshimath today. This special puja of Goddess Lakshmi was offered at the Laksmi Temple.

This year only 50 people associated with the temple will be present in the Badrinath Dham on the occasion of the opening of the main temple door. The priest of Badrinath Dham, Bhuvan Chandra Uniyal, told that during the opening of the temple door, prayers will be made to Lord Badri Vishal to remove the dangerous disease of corona infection from India.
