Rudraprayag: One person died and several others were injured after they got trapped under the rubble after a landslide took place near Lincholi on Thursday. They were on their way to Kedarnath.

According to sources, the incident took place around 3 pm in the afternoon. The local administration, including SDRF and PRD police personnel, reached the spot immediately.
Around ten people were injured in the incident and have been admitted to the hospital.
Rudraprayag district magistrate Mangesh Ghildiyal said, "If needed, the injured pilgrims will be shifted by helicopter to other hospitals. It is already being discussed with higher authorities."
