Due to heavy rain after a cloud burst in Uttarakhand's Haldwani, the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra was brought to a halt and pilgrims were shifted to safer places.

Haldwani: The 18th batch of Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, which was to leave from New Delhi on Monday was stopped and the batches which are on the move were shifted to safer places en route after the traditional Lipulekh route halted due to incessant rain here.

Every year India's Ministry of External Affairs organizes the Kailash Mansarovar pilgrimage from June to September for Hindu, Jain, and Buddhist pilgrims.

The pilgrims take one of the two routes -- one is Lipulekh Pass that passes through important sites like Narayan Ashram, Patal Bhuvaneshwar and the other one is Nathu La Pass in Sikkim.

The route through Nathu La Pass (Sikkim) is motorable and suitable for senior citizens unable to undertake arduous trekking. From Gangtok, the route passes through scenic places like Hangu Lake, and through the vast landscape of the Tibetan plateau.

Intro:sammry- कैलाश मानसरोवर यात्रा का आखरी और आठवां दल स्थागित।( इस खबर में कोई बाइट विजुअल नहीं है पुराने विजुअल से खबर चलाएं ) एंकर- पहाड़ों में भारी बरसात और यात्रा रास्ते में कई पुल क्षतिग्रस्त होने के चलते विश्व प्रसिद्ध कैलाश मानसरोवर यात्रा का आखरी और 18 वा दल को दिल्ली में रोकना पड़ा है। आखरी दल में कुल 35 यात्री आने थे ।रास्ता दुरस्त हो जाने के बाद संभवत 21 अगस्त को सभी यात्री अपने पहले पड़ाव काठगोदाम के लिए आ सकते हैं।

Body:पहाड़ों में लगातार हो रही बरसात और कैलाश मानसरोवर यात्रा रास्ते में कई जगहों पर मलबा और पुल के क्षतिग्रस्त हो जाने के चलते मानसरोवर यात्रा मैं काफी कठिनाई आई है। यात्रा का अंतिम और 18 दल को आज दिल्ली से चलकर पहले पड़ाव काठगोदाम पहुंचना था लेकिन अगले आदेश तक इस दल को स्थगित किया गया है। बताया जा रहा है कि रास्ता सुचारु हो जाने पर संभवत 21 अगस्त को यात्रा दिल्ली से चलकर काठगोदाम पहुंचेगा।

Conclusion:अंतिम दल में कुल 33 यात्री शामिल थे जिसमें 25 पुरुष और 8 महिलाएं शामिल थी। वहीं यात्रा दल का 13 वा दल यात्रा पूरी कर सकुशल आज काठगोदाम पहुंचा जहां सभी यात्रियों को स्वागत कर वापस दिल्ली भेजा गया।
