Haldwani: Nainital MP Ajay Bhatt thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the central government for the approval of the strategically important Indo-Nepal border road project.

In a letter, Bhatt said that the Indo-Nepal Border Road Project is a strategic and commercially important project.

Nainital MP Bhatt said that the central government has sanctioned a four-line road from NH-109 Jagadh old bridge to the boundary pillar 802/11 Indo- Nepal border.

Its advantage will be to facilitate the movement of commercial vehicles coming from India and Nepal and both countries will also get strategic and commercial economic benefits.

From this, the importance of this international route can be understood. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways approved on 21 September 2020 the widening of the four-lane road from 40 km to the boundary.
