Chamoli (Uttarakhand): Since the horrific glacier burst which took place on February 7, the search for missing people in Tapovan Tunnel is still on. On Sunday, the NDRF rescue team recovered another body from the tunnel. The body has been identified as that of Harsha, son of Dhirendra who hails from Lal Kot village in Pauri Garhwal

SI Sumit Badoni of Joshimath police station said that the postmortem of the body has been done. So far out of 204 people missing in the disaster, bodies of 82 people and 35 human organs have been recovered and that still 121 people are missing. Of the dead bodies found so far, 49 have been identified.

A glacier outburst in the Tapovan-Reni area of Chamoli District of Uttarakhand led to massive flooding in Dhauliganga and Alaknanda rivers, causing damage to properties and the nearby Rishiganga power project.
