Dehradun (Uttarakhand): A youth in Dehradun allegedly stabbed a girl outside her home in Madrasi Colony on Tuesday.
The girl was rushed to a private hospital in Ballupur where her condition remains critical.
The police have arrested the attacker. The Man was identified as Maniram (30), resident of Madrasi Colony.
The incident took place last night around 2 A.M when the young man reached in front of the woman's house and started shouting. Hearing the boy, the girl came out and the accused attacked the girl with a sharp weapon. The young man was in love with the 22-year-old girl living in Madrasi Colony for a long time. The young man was also constantly harassing the girl, according to police.
The family immediately admitted the girl to Synergy Hospital in Ballupur.
A case has been registered and an investigation is underway.
