Mathura: Criticizing the Uttar Pradesh government on various counts, Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD), which organised a 'mahapanchayat' here, said it has failed on all fronts and will be changed after next state assembly elections.
Speaking to the media during the 'mahapanchayat', attended by thousands of people, Jayant Chaudhary, Vice President of the RLD, said the Yogi Adityanath government has failed miserably on all fronts as there have been incidents of rape and other crimes against women and the people of weaker sections of the society every day.
"Yogi came to power by promising a lot but he did not deliver and people, especially women are suffering during his regime," he said, adding that over three thousand cases of rape were reported in the past one year in Uttar Pradesh.

Also, the government has become intolerant and it has no space for opposition parties whereas the opposition is an essential part of the democratic system, he said.
The RLD leader also demanded immediate more appointment in the police force of the state to maintain a good law and order situation.
"Yogi had asked votes promising development, safety and security of women and a lot many other things but he is not delivering on any of the fronts," he said, adding that the present government will be changed in the next elections.
