Muzaffarnagar: National President of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU), Chaudhary Naresh Tikait addressing the monthly panchayat organized at the Bhakiu headquarters of Sisauli district said that no one would invite BJP leaders for weddings or any other function.

"If a person is found guilty of giving an invitation to the BJP leaders, the next day he will have to feed a hundred people. This will be a punishment for him," he said.

A monthly panchayat was held on Wednesday in Sisauli town in Muzaffarnagar to further strengthen the agitation against the central government regarding the Agriculture Laws.

Khap Chowdharis and farmers arrived from many villages of the district to attend the mahapanchayat. Balbir Singh Rajjewal, the big farmer leader of Punjab and Rajbir Jadoun, state president of Bhakiyu, were also present.

State President Rajvir Singh Jadoun, Dheeraj Latianan, Chaudhary Virender Latianan, Balbir Singh Rajewal, Harsauli Thumbdar Saudan Singh among others were also in attendance.

In the monthly panchayat of the Kisan Union which was headed by Neetu Dulhara and chaired by Charan Singh, it was decided that a tractor trolley with 15 farmers from each village will go to the Ghazipur border for 10 days.

Tikait added that the farmers' movement has become a battle of honour.

"This is a fight for our turban, we have to save our land, we have to save our honour. Therefore, we will work to fight this movement with more strength," he said.

He said that even in West Bengal, BJP people loudly shout slogans of Jai Shri Ram. While the farmers of Raghuvanshi gotra, descendants of Shri Ram, are going to be sitting on the Delhi Ghazipur border for about three months. But the government does not have time to meet them.

Further taking a dig at BJP, he said that the saffron party loudly shout slogans of Jai Shri Ram, while the farmers of Raghuvanshi gotra, descendants of Shri Ram have been sitting at the Delhi Ghazipur border for about three months but the government does not have time to meet them.

Chaudhary Naresh Tikait said that more than 200 farmers have been martyred at the Delhi border, but Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not even expressed his condolences for these martyrs even once. "The price of electricity in Uttar Pradesh is higher than in the neighbouring states. The price of diesel has also touched the sky, in such a situation, what will happen? The farmer is under the debt of the bank. There has not been any increase in the sugarcane rate in UP for the last four years, how will the farmer get his bank loan and how he will live," Tikait rued.

In Sisauli Panchayat, Chaudhary Balveer Singh Rajewal said that the morale of the farmers had reduced somewhat after the 26 January incident. On the 27th, the farmer was worried, after that on the 28th, the spark of the movement came out of Muzaffarnagar that saved this farmers' movement and saved the turban of the Sikhs. We will continue to accept this as a favour and together with Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan, we will fight this movement strongly.

Chaudhary Digambar Singh, the youth in-charge of BLU said that till the government accept our demands, we will not return from the Ghazipur border and will not go home. Senior BKU leader Raju Ahlawat said that all the workers with their tractors will remain there till the movement is over at the Ghazipur border.
