Why security personnel did not accompany Unnao rape survivor?

In a startling revelation, it was observed that the deployed security guards didn't accompany the Unnao rape victim at the time of the road accident. An investigation in the matter is underway.

Unnao: Unnao rape victim was critically injured in the road accident that happened on Sunday while she was heading towards Rae Bareilly along with her two aunts. The incident gave rise to many questions associated with the victim's safety.

Madhav Prasad Verma, SP said that he will look into the matter as to why the deployed security guards didn't accompany the victim that day. Three security guards were assigned the duty to protect the victim which included two female guards and one gunman.

An investigation in the matter is underway.
