Lucknow: There seems to be no end to the sanitary problems in Ramnagar. Locals in the outskirts of Lucknow, face a lot of problems including drinking water, cleanliness, road construction and security.

The colony is deprived of basic developments. Outbreak of diseases looms large as people in the area are struggling to get proper drinking water. Nor borewell or water connection can be seen in the area.

Besides the water issues, the locality does not have a proper garbage dumping yard. People have a lot of resentment against the government as they have failed to provide the basic facilities related to people's health, cleanliness and road construction.

However, during elections political parties promised to initiate developmental work. Home Minister Rajnath Singh, who was elected from Lucknow – assured the people that Ramnagar will see development and growth. Almost five years later the place has little changed.
