Mathura: After the arrest of most wanted gangster Vikas Dubey who is responsible for the killing of eight police personnel in Kanpur, father of UP police constable Jitendra Pal Singh who was martyred in the Kanpur encounter said that accused Vikas Dubey Should be hanged at the crossroads.
Tirath Pal Singh said that the case should also be filed against fraudsters in the police department.
"My son's soul will rest in peace only when all those along with Vikas Dubey will get the death penalty," he added.
Uttar Pradesh's dreaded gangster Vikas Dubey was arrested on Thursday at the Mahakaal temple premises of Madhya Pradesh's Ujjain.
At least eight policemen, including a deputy superintendent of police, were killed and seven others injured in a gunbattle with criminals on the intervening night of July 2 and 3 following which a massive search operation was launched to nab him. Dubey, the wanted history-sheeter, who has 60 criminal cases registered against him, had a bounty of Rs 5 lakhs on him.
