Ghaziabad: Union Minister V K Singh has slammed the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for its remark against Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath that he was promoting racial violence against Balmikis and Dalits in the state.
Interacting with media persons here, the minister said that the AAP was "misleading" the people.
"Their intention is not good. I would say they must avoid all this," the central minister said in response to AAP MP Sanjay Singh writing a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, wherein he criticized the UP government for targeting weaker sections of the society.
The AAP leader said that there was a conspiracy against Jatavs, Balmikis and Dalits in the state as women of Dalits are being raped and the government, instead of protecting them, was busy protecting the rapists.
