Amroha (Uttar Pradesh): With the intention of killing them in the nearby forest area in Dhekla, two children were allegedly abducted by one of their relatives in Uttar Pradesh's Amroha district on Sunday.
However, the person's sinister plan failed as the girl, one among the abducted children, raised a cry for help, following which they were rescued by the police officials.

According to sources, the children's father Vineet Tyagi, filed a complaint against the person, their relative, in Amroha police station.
Tyagi alleged that one of his relatives took away his 14-year-old daughter and 12-year-old son to the Dhekla forest, with the intention of murdering them.

"He bound my daughter with a rope and tried to kill her," he claimed.
Police have launched an investigation into the matter.
