Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given a go-head for the construction of a data centre park in Greater Noida, official sources said.
They said the high-tech project would have an estimated investment of Rs 600 crore.
The data centre park will be built by Hirandani Group at a 20-acre plot in Greater Noida, they said, adding that it would create multiple jobs and also make the pricing reasonable for local IT companies.

Till date, the data storage was largely limited to locations outside the country but facilities like this would revamp how the IT companies operate in the country.
Adityanath has asked the officials to facilitate land allotment for the project and also ensure smooth operation for it.
Keeping in mind the demand of power for the data centre, the state government has put in place adequate arrangements for uninterrupted power supply.
