Uttar Pradesh: A prototype model of a dish tv radar gun has been created by the students of Swami Vivekananda Academy in Uttar Pradesh's Mirzapur.
Students of class 9th and 10th have used the antenna of dish tv as a radar whose range is 10 metres. This radar can sense any person or animal in that range and can send the information to the camp.
Thus, it enables greater safety and fewer casualties to the forces at the border.
According to the students, 'if the radar gun is connected with the satellite it's range can be increased'. The students also seek the guidance of DRDO for increasing the potential of this gun.
The students have worked for several months on this project and it has incurred a cost of about Rs 20000.
