Lucknow: After the killing of eight Uttar Pradesh policemen in an encounter, the state police have intensified the search operation to nab the history-sheeter Vikas Dubey.
The police raided his brother Deep Prakash Dubey's house in Lucknow and took him into the custody. The police also took Deep's wife and daughter into the custody.
Vikas Dubey's mother is also being questioned by the police. CCTV cameras installed in Deep Prakash Dubey's house are also being investigated to take note of Vikash's movement in the past few days. The police raided Vikas's uncle house in Kanpur and he is also being questioned.

Eight policemen, including a deputy superintendent of police, were killed during an operation to nab gangster Vikas Dubey late on Thursday in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur district.
Apart from this, there are 60 cases, including that of murder, robberies and kidnappings against Dubey.

It is to be noted that Dubey's criminal record began in 1990 with a case of murder. Over the years, he has been charged with cases of attempted murder, kidnapping, extortion and rioting.
