Meerut(Uttar Pradesh): An MBA student in Meerut was allegedly abducted and gang-raped by four men while she was on her way to Garhmukteshwar. According to sources, the accused was offered a lift following which she was kidnapped and brutally gang-raped in Bulandshehar's Siyana.
The accused tried to disfigure the victim's face. The family of the victim said that they last spoke to her when her bus broke down and she took a lift from Garhmukteshwar. When the student did not return home until late in the evening, her family members rushed to the police and informed them.

Taking action on the complaint filed by the girl's family, police traced her cellphone and rescued her from Siyana in Bulandshahr.
After being found abandoned in a jungle, the victim was immediately rushed to Meerut's Medical College. Her treatment is underway and girl's condition is critical.
''During the investigation, it was found that the girl went with her classmate on her own. She got injured after falling from a bike, rape has not been confirmed in medical report. This is not a case of kidnapping or gang-rape, said Inspector-General Praveen Kumar.
Students have created a ruckus outside the IG's office and have surrounded the entire area. The agitators are demanding the arrest of the culprits and police personnel have been deployed at the spot.
