UP man dies in Saudi, appeals to govt falls on deaf ears

A resident of Chakauth village here who had gone to Saudi to earn his livelihood has died due to kidney failure. It is quite sad to know that the deceased Mohammad Irfan had tried seeking help from Indian government to return back to his home, once his kidney stopped working. Since eight months, Irfan had been sending voice messages seeking help to come back to India. His family has urged to help them get back his body to perform last rites.

Mau (UP): In a despairing incident a resident of Chakauth village here who had gone to Saudi to earn his livelihood has died due to kidney failure after repeated appeals to the government fell on deaf ears.

The deceased, who has been identified as Mohammad Irfan had gone to Saudi for work.

While working there, he fell ill and one of his kidney had stopped working.

Since eight months, Irfan had been sending voice messages seeking help

Since eight months, Irfan had been sending voice messages seeking help to come back to India. The media has covered his story multiple times but that could not help bring him back to his native land.

His family now hopes that the Indian government intervenes and has urged to help them get back his body to perform last rites.

Even after writing to the Prime Minister for over eight months, Irfan's life could not be saved, hence the family now has approached media to seek help.
